Black Twitter is on fire today, after an explosive rumor hit the Twitter-verse. A number of IG bloggers are claiming that the popular hip hop group The Migos broke up, because – they claim – Cardi B’s husband Offset allegedly slept with Quavo’s ex-girlfriend Saweetie.
Media Take Out investigated these rumors, spoke to people close to Saweetie and Offset, and have come to our own conclusion as to the truthfulness of the claims – keep reading for our analysis below.
First, lets go to the rumor – which is so HOT it has Offset and Saweetie trending all over Black Twitter. According to the bloggers, they claim that the reason why The Migos broke up is they allege that Saweetie – who was dating Migos member Quavo – allegedly cheated on The Migos star with his bandmate Offset, who is currently married to Cardi B.

That’s the run – but is it true? Media Take Out spoke with a person close to Saweetie who told us flat out, “The rumor is a 100% lie.”
The friend continued, “Sweetie is cool with Cardi and Offset, she would NEVER do something like that.”
That’s what Saweetie’s people are saying. What about the people close to Offset. Well we spoke with a person close to Offset and Quavo who told us, “Hell no that rumor isn’t true. Offset and Quavo are like brothers, they would NEVER do that to each other.”
The Migos rappers are currently involved in a legal dispute – with Quavo siding with the group’s long-time manager Pierre “Pee” Thomas against Offset. But according to Media Take Out’s insider, Quavo and Offset’s relationship is still “like brothers.”
Unfortunately for Offset and Saweetie, the rumor is continuing to build up steam on social media, and it’s affecting Offset’s wife Cardi.
Media Take Out also spoke with a person close to Cardi – who may be suffering the MOST from this rumor. The insider told Media Take Out, “The rumor is hurting [Cardi]. She doesn’t need to have her [Twitter] timeline filled with this nonsense. And people actually believe this mess.”
