Biggie’s Son Fights to Toss Voletta Wallace’s Final Will Amendment

Christopher Wallace Jr. is taking his grandmother’s estate fight to court after discovering a will amendment signed just over two weeks before Voletta Wallace died.

The son of The Notorious B.I.G. claims the new document dramatically changed who would control Voletta’s estate and what her grandchildren would receive.

In court papers, Christopher says Voletta created a will in 2020 that left him and his sister much of her property, including jewelry, furs, Biggie-related music awards, a vehicle, and real estate. Her interest in the company overseeing Biggie’s estate was also designated for her foundation.

But Christopher says an amendment signed 15 days before Voletta’s February 2025 death removed the grandchildren and named former Biggie manager Wayne Barrow as executor and now he is questioning how that change happened.

Christopher claims Voletta’s health had deteriorated in her final days and says she was taking multiple medications and frequently bedridden. He also alleges that signatures on the amendment look “facially inconsistent.”

He wants a judge to declare the amendment invalid and immediately remove Barrow as executor.

Barrow recently won a separate ruling granting him access to her portion of trust profits, while Faith Evans has reportedly been holding those funds pending further court direction.
