Congratulations are in order. While the entire world spent the weekend celebrating the success of Beyonce’s new album Renaissance, Media Take Out learned that Bey’s father, Mathew Knowles, decided to give his daughter her flowers.
He shouted out his daughter, who also expressed the important role he has played in her life.
A few weeks ago, Mathew made another announcement on his Instagram that went pretty much unnoticed until we at Media Take Out spotted it. It turns out that he’s married . . . and has been for the past 9 years. According to Bey’s dad, he and his wife celebrated their 9th wedding anniversary last month.
The couple took a trip to Italy, where they renewed their vows.

Mathew is a record executive, businessman and university lecturer. He is best known for being the manager of Destiny’s Child. He also once managed the solo careers of his daughters Beyoncé and Solange Knowles.
Knowles is the founder of Music World Entertainment, which embraces country, gospel and children’s music. Knowles is also an active and longtime voting member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (NARAS) and serves on its Grammy Board Committee.
