Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from husband Ben Affleck this month, but according to sources, the couple’s marriage first began to show cracks during their honeymoon in Italy back in 2022.
The couple were constantly being followed around by the papparazzi and Affleck was reportedly disappointed they did not have more privacy.
“He was unhappy with paparazzi following them. She is an international superstar, and he acted like it came as a surprise that they would be followed around,” the source told Page Six.
The source claimed that even though they were affectionate toward each other in front of the cameras, it was a different story behind the scenes.
“They would barely speak to each other during what was supposed to be the happiest time of their life. He sold her on him being a changed man, and that lasted a very short time,” the source claimed.
The insider also revealed that Affleck had just become sober when they reconciled but that once he settled into the sober life, he realized he did not want all of the attention.
“He doesn’t want [the entourage] and all the drama that comes with that in his home,” the source said.
