Nova Scotia battle rapper Pat Stay was stabbed to death in Halifax in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Halifax Police said they were called to the 1600 block of Lower Water Street around 12:36 a.m. AT. When they arrived, they found a male stabbing victim and he was rushed to the hospital. He later died. His identity was later confirmed by Pat Stay’s camp.

The stabbing comes weeks after, Stay blasted The Game for dissing Eminem on his “The Black Slim Shady” diss track.

“I gotta say, as a fan losangelesconfidential its been hard to watch you desperately begging for @eminem attention trying to battle him. Trust me, I respect the hunger, but once you start that whole ‘he only blew up because he’s white’ type sh-t it comes off more hater-ish than competitive,” he wrote on Instagram.

He then challenged The Game to a battle.

“Game, you seem very eager to battle. Specifically a “white boy”. Well why don’t you do a real battle and come see me,” he wrote. “So bring it. I’m that white boy you need to see first,” he wrote.
