Bankroll Freddie’s Lyrics Were Reportedly Used Against Him In Court

Media Take Out Staff |

Bankroll Freddie claims his song lyrics were used against him in court.

“They brought up 2 songs in my bond hearing had me confused like wtf can they do that??” he wrote on his Instagram Story. “Smh this can’t be right!!”

In April, the Arkansas rapper was arrested on drug and weapon charges after he was pulled over for speeding. He was in possession of 21 pounds of marijuana, 171 grams of promethazine and a gun.

He was released on bond.

“His family and community ties, combined with his very public career, make it unlikely that he will attempt to flee,” Judge Edie Ervin told the court. “Instead, he has every incentive to comply with his release conditions so that he may continue working.”

Young Thug and Gunna have been arrested on RICO charges and prosecutors want to use their song lyrics to help convict them. Should song lyrics be used against rappers in court?
