Azealia Banks hopped online to respond to rumors that she has been evicted from her Florida home.
“It’s a lie. I’ve always paid my rent. I’m not a gazillionaire, but surely Azealia Banks has $8,000,” she said on Instagram Stories.
Banks accused the landlord of attempting to extort her. According to the rapper, the landlord incorrectly filed the payments they received properly.
After uploading paperwork, she went on a rant against POP TINGZ, who originally posted the report.
“LMAO WHY DO THESE TOSTONES GREASE BATHING WHITE WANNABES IN MIAMI REALLY THINK IM GONNA PLAY WITH THEM? POP TINGZ BETTER CORRECT THAT SH-T,” he wrote.
She continued: “YOU CAN SEARCH THE PUBLIC RECORD… THERE IS NO EVICTION ORDERED BY ANY COURT. THE LANDLORD IS A DRUNK WITH H.PYLORI WHO HAS BEEN MENACING ME THE ENTIRE TIME I LIVED THERE. SHE HAD HER HUSBAND COME IN THE HOUSE UNDER THE GUISE OF FIXING SOME BROKEN OUTLETS.”
She also claimed the landlords are broke and owe more than $30,000 in repairs.
Banks says POP TINGZ will regret the post as they revealed her personal address to try and cause her injury…seemingly alluding to a lawsuit.
