Azealia Banks ROASTS Ice Spice Over “Y2K” Aesthetic

Azealia Banks hopped online to call out Ice Spice over her visuals for her upcoming album, “Y2K.”

Fans complained about the original artwork which showed the rapper posing next to a trash can with the words “Y2K” emblazoned across the front.

She then released an alternate version of the cover, showing her as a giant, King Kong-sized figure destroying the city.

After releasing a new snippet of her new track, “Phatt Butt,” fans accused the rapper of biting Nicki Minaj’s style and flow.

“Somebody needs to tell @icespice Absolutely nothing about this aesthetically, performance wise, production wise is Y2K at all,” she wrote on Instagram Story. “This is like VIM early Nicki Minaj pack weave sh-t.”

Banks added, “We need a new hair color and a new facial expression,” comparing Ice Spice to“early Nicki Minaj pack weave sh-t.”

The “212” rapper thinks Ice Spice should trash it all and start over.

“Big butts and bbl bodies are the [ANTITHESIS] OF Y2K,” she stated.
