Azealia Banks has officially moved to Israel, despite once vowing never to return to the country following allegations of racist treatment.
The “212” hitmaker, 35, announced her relocation to Tel Aviv on X this week, sharing a glimpse of what appears to be her new home.
“Moving in,” Banks wrote. “If you would have told me years ago id end up moving to Tel Aviv and liking it, I would have said youre crazy.”
The rapper also revealed that she is recording a new album.

“Its ironically just been easier to create here because Israel’s arts scene is really mature,” she explained.
Back in 2018, following a performance in Tel Aviv, Banks accused residents of racist behavior and declared, “I will never ever ever ever ever go to Israel again.”
But last year, in 2025, she did a complete U-turn, telling her fans, “I’m a Zionist,” before reversing course earlier this year amid the conflict involving Israel and Iran.
“On second thought, F*CK ISRAEL,” she wrote in March.
The performer is scheduled to take the stage at the Tel Aviv Amphitheater on Thursday, Oct. 8.
