Azealia Banks is walking away from her new record label, Parlophone.
The rapper just signed with them a few months back.
“I’m leaving @parlophone this staff is full of really silly fragile white liars. The roster is full of corny losers and I’ve had it,” she wrote on Instagram. “Like how many idiots does it take to screw in a f-cking lightbulb? Ugh thank god. ‘New Bottega’ will be on platforms this week. That sh-t was stressing me the f-ck out.”
After she announced the news, she shared that it was her decision to walk away and denied being dropped.
“I DONT GET DROPPED I DROP THE LABEL LMAO P-SSIES,” she tweeted.
In November, Banks confirmed the deal with British label Parlophone. “Bitches I just got signed to Warner/Parlophone UK! I’m coming home. I did it. I wasn’t going to let you down”. It didn’t take long for things to go awry.
