Australian Police Investigate Ruby Rose’s Explosive Allegation Against Katy Perry!

Australian police are investigating Ruby Rose’s allegation that Katy Perry sexually assaulted her during an encounter at a Melbourne nightclub in 2010.

Victoria Police confirmed that detectives with the Melbourne Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team have opened an investigation into the claim. According to authorities, the alleged incident took place in Melbourne’s central business district. Police declined further comment because the matter is ongoing.

Rose first made the allegation earlier this week in a now-deleted social media post.

“Katy Perry sexual assaulted me at spice market nightclub in Melbourne. Who gives a sh*t what she thinks,” Rose wrote.

The Orange Is the New Black actress initially said she did not plan to go to police. Days later, however, she revealed she had changed her mind.

“This is a standard request from the police and in many ways, quite the relief,” Rose wrote. “I can start the healing process now.”

Perry has denied the accusation.

In a statement before the investigation was announced, a representative for the singer called Rose’s claims “categorically false” and “dangerous reckless lies.”

The allegation surfaced after Rose responded to an article about Perry attending Coachella with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
Perry, who released her album 143 in 2024, completed her latest world tour in December. She has not publicly addressed the investigation.
