Raygun, the B-girl who represented Australia at the Paris Olympics, has apologized for her bizarre breakdancing performance that went viral across the world.

Speaking on “The Project” on Wednesday, Raygun said she is “very sorry for the backlash that the community has experienced” after her performance.

Raygun lost all three of her round her rounds and received a total score of 54-0.

The university professor, real name Rachael Gunn, said she was very nervous on the day of her Olympic debut.

“I knew I was going to get beaten and that no one was going to understand my style and what I was going to do,” she said. “The odds were against me, that’s for sure.”

Despite the backlash, she still claims she is her country’s best B-girl.

“I think my record speaks to that,” Gunn told Australia’s Channel 10 TV. “I was the top-ranked Australian B girl in 2020 and 2022, and 2023. … So the record is there, but anything can happen in a battle.”
