Atlanta Slimelife Shawty appears to have snitched on rapper Young Thug when he testified in court this week by claiming that YSL is a gang.
Young Thug is still facing a lengthy prison sentence after being hit with RICO charges. Prosecutors believe his YSL label was a gang and that he and other YSL members were engaging in criminal activities.
The “Lifestyle” rapper is facing additional charges of participation in criminal street gang activity, violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a machine gun, and drug charges.
Slimelife Shawty said that after the ROC crew's popularity faded, its members started rapping under YSL, naming "Jeffery" as an example.

Thugger’s defense is based on his declarations that YSL is a gang.
In court, prosecutors asked Shawty if YSL was a gang. He claimed that “Some people treat it like that,” before adding that he too, had treated it like a gang before.
After his alleged snitching went viral, the rapper took to his Instagram to deny turning on his friend.
