Ariana Madix’s attorneys have responded to Raquel Leviss’ revenge p-rn lawsuit against her and her ex, Tom Sandoval, claiming she is being punished for the #Scandoval backlash.
Her legal wrote in their response that she is trying to “punish” and “blame Ms. Madix for the negative reaction [she] received as a result of her affair” with Tom.
“[Leviss] does not seek to vindicate any cognizable rights but to punish Ms. Madix, and deter others, from exercising their constitutionally protected right of free speech.”
Raquel sued ex-friend Ariana Madix and her ex-lover Tom accusing them of revenge porn, eavesdropping, invasion of privacy, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
“‘Scandoval’ captured the public’s attention in a massive way, went completely viral, and injected new life into Vanderpump Rules,” the lawsuit, which was filed with the Los Angeles Superior Court.
Raquel and Tom’s affair broke the internet last year. She ended up walking away from the show and breaking off her relationship with the bar owner. The affair was exposed after Ariana found a video on Tom’s phone of her and it was pretty graphic. Fans boycotted Tom Sandoval’s business with Tom Schwartz. The boycott almost forced them to shut down the business. Tom and Raquel no longer speak and Raquel has left the show.
