Aoki Lee Simmons does not regret defending her mother Kimora Lee Simmons after her father threw shade at her on social media a few months back.
“I don’t regret it,” said Aoki in Teen Vogue. “Part of it was already out there. There were reasons I thought it was reasonable to publish, because it was playing out in, like, a silent bubble.”
After his daughter, Ming Lee, thanked his ex-wife Kimora Lee Simmons on Father’s Day, he slammed his daughters. His daughter Aoki then accused him of being abusive to their mother and that he ruined her career.
Weeks after their online back and forth, Russell posted a message to his daughter Ming Lee on his Instagram page.
He posted a video of himself alongside Ming Lee of them both looking happy and smiling directly into the camera.
“When Times are tough smile and breathe keep your head up yogis. Gods got you again like he had u last time,” Simmons captioned the post.
