After a series of bizarre behaviors both on and off social media, fans quickly came to the conclusion that Aoki Lee Simmons could be on drugs.
But Aoki hopped on social media to shoot down the allegations.
“I’m not on drugs,” she said. “I don’t do coke. I just like sugar and I’m a nerd. Like, I don’t think any of you guys have any friends who are actual nerds. Like, you have any friends who have played Dungeons and Dragons like one time. I’m just a nerd. That’s all it is.”
The 21-year-old model and Harvard graduate went viral after she was spotted out on a date with Vittorio Assaf, the 65-year-old founder of the Serafina Restaurant Group.
The photos and videos caused a frenzy online but the relationship was reportedly over very soon after it was splashed all over the internet. The relationship lasted just five days.
Fans appeared to accept her explanation.
“I don’t think she’s on anything she looks talks exactly how her father talks they have a lipsy talk and talk very fast he always had she is his twin literally,” one fan said in the comments sections.
