Ally D, the ex-girlfriend of NBA star Anthony Edwards, is taking him to court, accusing him of never meeting his son Amir.
Ally D, real name Alexandria Desroche, says that she has tried several times to contact the athlete, but he has been unresponsive.
According to In Touch Weekly, Anthony filed a petition against Ally in January 2024, where he asked the court for joint legal and physical custody and for child support to be set by the court. The case was reportedly thrown out because he failed to follow through with the paperwork.
Last month, he filed a new petition asking for child support to be arranged. He is not asking for joint custody or visitation in the latest filing, which is similar to his legal battle with Ayesha Howard, with whom he stated he did not want to share custody with their daughter or see her.
Ally told In Touch that Anthony made a one-time payment of $20,000 to her in November 2023. She alleged that beginning in July 2024, he started voluntarily sending $5,000 per month to support their child. The monthly payments were increased to $7,200 from January through March to help cover childcare costs, but were reduced back to $5,000 in April.
She also acknowledged receiving money from Anthony for Christmas in 2023 but said she did not receive anything in 2024.
