Anthony Edwards Accused of Leaving Three Children Without a Father

Tiffany Brockworth |

Ayesha Howard says Anthony Edwards has never met their child or signed the birth certificate, speaking out after a judge ordered the NBA star to pay $3,000 in child support.

Howard shared a lengthy statement on Instagram Stories without naming Edwards directly, instead referring to him as “a celebrated athlete” and “the father.”

“I am fully aware of the rumors and narratives circulating online regarding my family and my child’s financial future,” she wrote. “The negative backlash directed at an innocent child and mother is deeply troubling.”

Howard also accused unnamed blogs of spreading inaccurate accounts to protect a client’s reputation and then went on a rant about absent fathers and parental responsibility.

“This situation highlights a devastating cycle in our community: the normalization of absent fathers and the lack of parental accountability,” she wrote.

Howard said she is raising one of three children she claims have been abandoned by the same athlete.

“Because of my platform, my story receives the most attention,” Howard wrote. “But beyond the entertainment value, the clicks, and the views, the painful reality is that three children are growing up fatherless.”

Edwards has not publicly responded to Howard’s latest statement.
