Married Good Morning America co-hosts TJ Holmes and Amy Robach were fired after they were caught having a workplace affair. Since then, Media Take Out has reported on an avalanche of women claiming they too had affairs with TJ while working for ABC.
Now another woman has come forward. In case you’re counting – this is side chick number 5.
In an interview with The Cut, an entry level digital news associate claims she also had an affair with TJ, back in 2014 when she was 27 and he was 38. TJ was married at the time, and his wife was recovering from childbirth during that period.
The woman, who Media Take Out learned is a blonde claims TJ asked for help with his Instagram account and then poured on the charm before renting a hotel room for a one nighter.
The woman admits she knew TJ was married but says she couldn’t resist his charisma.
The woman says their affair ended after TJ left the overnight shift for Good Morning America, without telling her that he was leaving. She was left devastated and feeling like a thrown-away object, because TJ ghosted her after that.
The article paints the young blonde as a “victim” of TJ’s alleged predatory behavior in the office. But the article did not offer his wife’s perspective.
TJ Holmes filed to divorce his wife last fall, and word on the curb is that he plans to propose to Amy soon.
