Anne Heche Reportedly Had Cocaine In Her System At Time Of Death

Media Take Out Staff |

The autopsy report for actress Anne Heche has been revealed and shows that she had several drugs in her system at the time of her fatal car crash.

Heche tested positive for an inactive metabolite of cocaine called benzoylecgonine, fentanyl, cannabinoids, and benzodiazepines in her urine per the Los Angeles County medical examiner-coroner’s report.

The report added that fentanyl was given to her when she was hospitalized for pain incurred after her burns.

Heche’s blue Mini Cooper crashed into a home belonging to Jennifer Durand on Friday. Her tenant, Lynne Mishele, was residing in the property at the time. The home caught fire after the crash and Heche suffered burns from the incident.

There was speculation she was intoxicated at the time of the crash.

“At this time Anne is in critical condition,” a rep said while she was in hospital. “She has a significant pulmonary injury requiring mechanical ventilation and burns that require surgical intervention. She is in a coma and has not regained consciousness since shortly after the accident.”
