On his WHHL show, Andy Cohen made a joke about Jill Zarin, claiming the “Real Housewives of New York City” star is desperate to get back on the Bravo air.
Bravo had intended on splitting the show with a brand new cast of the “Real Housewives of New York City” as well as debuting a “Legacy” show with a cast of fan favorites from previous seasons.
“She actually lives in Orange County. This makes her the first Housewife to move from [a show based on one] city to another,” Cohen said of Taylor Amstrong. He then said, “In unrelated news, Jill Zarin is closing on homes in Potomac, New Jersey, Beverly Hills, Orange County, Atlanta, Miami, Dubai, and Salt Lake City. Just kidding! I love you Jill.”
Zarin had reportedly been trying to negotiate with Bravo for a bigger paycheck…but the talks stalled. A source told Page Six Zarin was just trying to get equal pay.
“It wasn’t about the money. Jill just wanted all the women to be paid the same. They started at the same time. They built the show together. She felt they should be paid the same. She would have done it for $1, as long as everyone was getting paid the same.”
