Andy Cohen has fired back at former Real Housewives of Orange County star Kelly Dodd after she accused him and Bravo of treating conservative cast members unfairly.
“These comments are [crazy],” Cohen reportedly wrote in a since-deleted post, according to Reality Blurb.
The response came on the heels of Kelly’s criticism of Cohen’s recent defense of political differences within the Real Housewives universe. Cohen had said the shows ultimately center on the women and their relationships, rather than their political affiliations.
The former RHOC cast member argued that Bravo had not historically been welcoming to conservative voices and suggested its willingness to feature women who support President Donald Trump was tied to attracting viewers.

“I deserve an apology. You were standing behind this cancel culture, and you know what? I can guarantee you most conservatives, which is a silent majority, [are] not watching Bravo or your show anymore,” Kelly declared.
Kelly starred on RHOC from Seasons 11 through 15 before leaving the franchise in 2021 following several controversies.
Cohen has maintained that differing political beliefs do not automatically determine who belongs on a Housewives cast. Several Housewives have been openly conservative, including Ramona Singer, Vicki Gunvalson, Gretchen Rossi and Siggy Flicker.
