Andy Cohen has responded to rumors circulating online that he knew about the current Summer House controversy, saying he was just as shocked as viewers were to learn that Amanda Batula and West Wilson are dating.
Speaking on his SiriusXM radio show, the Watch What Happens Live host denied online speculation that he already knew about the romance before the pair went public.
“I saw a lot of conspiracy theories online yesterday that I somehow knew about this,” Cohen said. “I did not.”

The relationship reveal came just two months after Amanda and estranged husband Kyle Cooke announced their split. In the current season of the Bravo show, West is seen trying to revive his previous relationship with Amanda’s close friend, Ciara Miller.
“I really feel for Ciara,” Cohen said.
Amanda and West confirmed their romance in a joint statement on March 31, describing their relationship as “very new.” Cohen admitted he still has questions.
“I was surprised by the statement,” he said. “I was surprised by what it said and I was surprised by what it didn’t say.”
Fortunately for Cohen, he will soon have the chance to ask those questions himself when he hosts the upcoming Summer House reunion.
“I have so many questions,” he said. “Boy, do I have a lot of questions.”
Since the scandal hit the internet, sources have stepped forward to claim that the relationship has been ongoing for months, possibly even over a year. West was also revealed to have been in an exclusive relationship with a woman, who was stunned by his public statement, as they were, at least in her mind, still an item.
Amanda’s husband, Kyle Cooke, has spoken out, accusing West of making his move on his estranged wife when she was at her most “vulnerable.”
“I’m still processing how to confront West. I think a lot of people don’t understand how close we were,” the Loverboy founder told street interviewer Adam Glyn in an Instagram video posted just yesterday. “We traveled to Toronto, we traveled to the Ozarks. I was at his parents’ house. I was riding horses at his dad’s ranch. There’s some wild betrayal here.”
