Marlo Hampton’s exit from Real Housewives of Atlanta was confirmed this month but according to Bravo exec Andy Cohen, we could be seeing more of her in the near future.
“This break from RHOA is a fresh start, allowing me the space to participate in new creative entertainment projects focused on my future and not reliving my past,” said Marlo in a statement confirming her exit.
The fashionista’s contract had reportedly expired and was not renewed.
Marlo joined series four as a “friend of” and was finally given a peach during Season 14. Fans complained about Marlo’s negativity on the show and slammed her parenting of her nephews after she “dumped” them at a family member’s home after they upset her.
On hsi show, Andy praised Marlo’s run on the show but added that her nephews would benefit from having more time with her.
“I hope that we have not seen the last of Marlo Hampton, and I have a feeling we haven’t. I will look forward to having her back in the clubhouse whenever she wants, and, you know, it’s an open door with Atlanta, with Marlo,” he added.
Marlo, Sanya Richards-Ross and Kandi Burruss will not be returning for season 16, Porsha Williams will be. It is also rumored Kim Zolciak could be making a comeback.
