Andy Cohen has been the face of the Real Housewives franchise since the very beginning, but as several of the shows struggle to pull in ratings, a report has surfaced claiming that Cohen is afraid to let some of the Housewives go because of the information they’ve been keeping.
A source told InTouch that he is “hesitant” to let go of the longtime cast members “because they possess a vast amount of insider knowledge.”
The source added “They have witnessed all the juicy, unedited moments and will no longer feel bound by loyalty once their contracts end!”
A rep for Bravo denied the report.
Cohen was recently cleared of several allegations after former New York Housewife Leah McSweeney, filed a lawsuit naming and several other producers of the show.
“[Cohen] engaged in cocaine use with ‘Housewives’ and other Bravolebrities that he employs” and rewards “‘Housewives’ with whom he uses cocaine with more favorable treatment and edits,” the lawsuit claimed.
Brandi Glanville also alleged misconduct from Cohen.
Bravo responded, stating that, “The outside investigation into the recent allegations made by Brandi Glanville and Leah McSweeney against Andy Cohen has now been completed, and the claims were found to be unsubstantiated.”
