Shannon Beador is firing back after Tamra Judge accused her of causing a scene over a $514 restaurant bill during a night out with Andy Cohen and their Real Housewives of Orange County costars.
The 62-year-old reality star admitted she was unhappy when The Quiet Woman charged the group, but said talk of a “meltdown” was overblown.
“I let my opinion be known,” Shannon said during a recent episode of Jamie Kennedy’s podcast. “It’s business 101.”
Shannon organized the dinner for Andy and six Housewives at the familiar Orange County restaurant. Because the venue has appeared throughout RHOC and Andy had never visited the area, Shannon believed the group should have received special treatment.
When Andy requested the check, Shannon questioned why the restaurant had not offered complimentary drinks, appetizers or dinner.
Andy paid the bill and left a generous tip. The general manager later followed him outside and offered to cancel the charge, but Shannon said the gesture came too late.
“It should’ve been discussed prior,” she said. “It was embarrassing to me.”
Andy later said he enjoyed the evening and did not support claims that Shannon had caused a scene.
Tamra doubled down, however, alleging that Andy “wasn’t even there when it happened.”
Shannon has since decided to distance herself from the restaurant, saying, “It’s just time for me to take a break.”
