On last night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the Bravo executive claimed that despite the heated reunion filming, he had no idea Garcelle Beauvais decided to exit the show.
“Look, I am disappointed that she is departing [after the reunion]. I wish she would have stuck around to work out another season,” Cohen told Erika Jayne and Bozoma Saint John.
Erika Jayne told Cohen that her refusal to return to the reunion or participate in the cast photo was a clear indication that she would not be returning to the show.
“I didn’t know that she quit!” Cohen replied. “When she left the reunion, I wasn’t totally sure. She and I had a conversation here last week.”
In a video message shared to her Instagram account, Garcelle said she is walking away from the show to focus on her family.
“Their last year of high school is next year, and I want to be a part of that, and Jaid is starting a new career, and I want to be a part of that, too,” she continued. “It means a lot, and I hope you guys will continue on this journey with me. It’s not goodbye; it’s see you later. So, see you later,” she said.
