Andy Cohen has addressed the absence of fan favorite, Monica Garcia in the current season of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.

He then addressed the absence of Monica in the new season of RHOSLC.

“I think that the whole point of these shows is that they’re ensemble shows and no one person is really greater than the group,” Andy told Variety.

Monica joined the show’s fourth season, but at the reunion back in January, she was outed as a blogger who tried to take down Jen Shah but also slandered the other Housewives on @RelaityVonTeese.

The cast reportedly demanded she be booted from the show.

“Last season was incredible and this season is incredible in a totally new way. You have to kind of trust the process, and we had great casting this season. I mean, Bronwyn [Newport] is just a great addition to the mix. And I think from that first episode you’re like, ‘Oh wow, this is forward-moving.’ We’re seeing a different Mary [Cosby] this season. By the way, we’re still in the early stages of this season, so people are going to be really happy.”

Viewers are still calling for Monica to be added back to the lineup.
