Former Florida gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gilliam may be heading to prison. Media Take Out confirmed that feds charged him with wire fraud and conspiracy. And according to online reports, the feds may have used a confidential informant, believed to be one of Andrew’s former gay lovers, as a snitch.

The former Tallahassee Democratic mayor Andrew Gillum was officially indicted and charged w/ one count of lying to the FBI, one count of conspiracy to commit mail fraud and 19 counts of wire fraud yesterday.

According to multiple social media reports, viewed by Media Take Out, there is widespread speculation that the feds have a confidential informant – which they used against Andrew.

And speculation is that the alleged informant may be one of Andrew’s former gay lovers.

Last year Andrew, who is married with two children, was caught drunk and passed out inside a hotel room with a gay man and crystal meth. Afterwards, the disgraced politician admitted to carrying on gay liaisons both before, and during his marriage.

The charges stem from ethics allegations that dogged him throughout his 2018 campaign for Florida governor — during which he was lauded as a rising star in Democratic politics.

Andrews lawyer sent the following response to the media, including Media Take Out, concerning his indictment, “The government got It wrong today. The evidence In this case Is clear and will show that Mr. Gillum Is innocent of all charges. We look forward M putting this case M rest and giving Andrew and his family peace of mind once and for all.”

Andrew Gillum has released the following statement:

“I have spent the last 20 years of my life In pubic service and continue to fight for the people. Every campaign I’ve run has been done with Integrity.

Make no mistake that this case Is not legal, It Is political.

Throughout my career I have always stood up for the people of Florida and have spoken truth to power. There’s been a target on my back ever since I was the mayor of Tallahassee. They found nothing then and I have full confidence that my legal team will prove my innocence now”
