Following a report that Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes have been keeping their distance from each other as ABC investigates their affair, sources say the couple is still together.
Sources told E! News that “they are still very much together.” Another source previously shared that “They wouldn’t dare be caught together now, not while ABC is making a decision.”
Robach and Holmes were pulled from the Good Morning America spinoff and have not been back on air since Dec. 5. ABC News reporters Gio Benitez, Stephanie Ramos and DeMarco Morgan have stepped in to cover the couple’s duties.
ABC News president Kim Godwin released the following memo to the team.
“I understand that the continuing coverage can be distracting from the incredibly important work our team does here,” Godwin wrote, adding that the network plans to have a “rotation of anchors at GMA3 for the time being.”
She added, “It is my hope that we will continue to focus our energy on what we do best, and I want all of you to know how immensely proud I am of your hard work and professionalism.”
