Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes secretly got married in Arkansas on Sept. 19, turning their headline-making romance into a marriage nearly four years after their relationship first became public.
The former GMA3 co-anchors exchanged vows in Washington County just one day after getting their marriage license, according to records PEOPLE obtained.
Robach, 53, and Holmes, 49, kept the celebration private, choosing a location with special significance for the groom, who was born in Arkansas and attended college there.
Their romance became public in November 2022, when photographs of the then-married colleagues together sparked widespread outrage over their alleged affair. Both eventually divorced their spouses and parted ways with ABC.
During a previous episode of their Amy & T.J. podcast, Robach explained why she was willing to take another chance on marriage.
“Love sometimes is a choice, when it’s hard, it’s not just a feeling,” she said. “Lust is a feeling, but love is a choice, I believe, and I have chosen to love you.”
The pair confirmed their engagement in October 2025, revealing they had already been engaged for about a month.
