Amazon has removed a book claiming to be written by late model and actress Kim Porter after the author admitted that he was not sure whether Porter actually wrote the memoir.
KIM’S LOST WORDS: A journey for justice, from the other side… was released on Amazon last month and became an instant best-seller.
“We were made aware of a dispute regarding this title and have notified the publisher,” a spokesperson said in a statement. “The book is not currently available for sale in our store.”
The book’s author, Todd Christopher Guzze, published the book under the name Jamal T. Millwood t — the name of an alias used by Tupac Shakur.
He claimed sources “very close to Kim and Sean Combs” gave him a “flash drive, documents, and tapes” from Porter, and the rest was left to his imagination.
Porter’s children, Christian, 26, and twin daughters Jessie and D’Lila, 17, also released a statement, slamming the alleged memoir.
“Claims that our mom wrote a book are simply untrue. She did not. And anyone claiming to have a manuscript is mispresenting themselves,” their statement said.
