Alex Rodriguez has reportedly broken up with his girlfriend, Kathryne Padgett.
“They’re good friends – they’re just each single. They broke up, but they’re super tight. It’s all good,” a source told Page Six. “Alex is having fun and hanging out with his family.”
In June, a source confirmed to the outlet that the relationship was just casual.
“Kathryne’s a great girl, but they’re not serious. They’re just dating. They’re having fun, that’s it,” a source told Page Six at the time. “Alex is not exclusive with anyone at the moment.”
Kathryne was A-Rod’s most serious relationship since he split from Jennifer Lopez last year.
“We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so. We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and one another’s children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support,” the couple said in a statement to TODAY last April.
Since then, Jlo has married Hollywood actor Ben Affleck.
