Afrobeats artist Tems is at the center of the feud between two of hip hop’s biggest artists, Drake and Future. And now we know what the boys are fighting over.
Media Take Out obtained footage of Tems from a recent performance in Toronto – and she looks amazing. Tems has been eating plenty of her yams and Joloff rice, and it shows.
Drake and Future made a chart topping collaboration album there years ago. And then the two launched one of the biggest songs of 2022, Wait For U, with Afrobeats artist Tems. But during teh recording of that hit record, Media Take Out reported that both men became romantically interested by Tems.
Tems ended up choosing not to get involved with either man, despite both showering her with gifts and other enticements. But as they were both courting Tems, a rivalry developed between the men, that ended their long-term friendship.
Eventually Future distanced himself from Drake – and linked up with Drake’s arch-enemy Kendrick Lamar, and the rest is history.
