Drake may have intended to deliver a nostalgic lyric on his new album ICEMAN, but adult film actress Cherokee D’Ass did not appear impressed after hearing her name mentioned on the project.
On the track “Make Them Pay,” Drake raps, “Shoutout to Cherokee D and Skyy Black ‘cause they were at my birthday when I was searching big booty Ebonies.”
Cherokee D’Ass rose to prominence in the adult entertainment industry during the early 2000s and became one of the most popular Black performers of that era. Known for her curvy figure and appearances in popular interracial and urban-themed productions, she built a strong fanbase through DVD releases, magazine features, and currently heavily promotes her OnlyFans content.
After the line went viral, Cherokee reacted on X.

According to streaming figures shared online by fans, Molly Santana’s Spotify monthly listeners climbed from 569,000 to 7.8 million after the album dropped. Stunna Sandy reportedly jumped from 336,000 listeners to 2 million, while Iconic Savvy and Qendresa also experienced streaming spikes tied to the project.
