Actress Stacey Dash has become a controversial political figure, who in the past has made disparaging comments about Black people. But Media Take Out learned that all that is about to change.
You see, Stacey wasn’t in her right state of mind when she was making those comments. As Stacey explained in a recent social media post – she was not sober at the time. But through her faith in Christ, she’s turned her life around.
Stacey recently celebrated 7 years clean. Meaning that her time as a host on FOX News, she was not.
Stacey Dash said come out publicly and said that she reconsidered her zealous support of former President Donald Trump, and condemned the Jan. 6 riots at the U.S. Capitol. Shortly afterwards Stacey said that she was going to give President Joe Biden a chance.
“Being a supporter of Trump has put me in some kind of box that I don’t belong in. But he’s not the president. I’m going to give the president that we have right now a chance,” Dash said in an exclusive interview with DailyMailTV. “We have a new president,” she added.
Stacey’s been largely private since then. But now she appears ready to come out again … this time for Kamala Harris.
According to a friend of Stacey, she loves the idea of having a first female president, and is expected to come out for Kamala in coming days. We’re also told that the two women are acquaintances.
Stacey is an American actress. Dash played Dionne Marie Davenport in the 1995 feature film Clueless and its television series of the same name. he has also appeared in the films Moving, Mo’ Money, Renaissance Man, and View from the Top. Other television work by Dash includes appearances in the series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Single Ladies and the reality TV show Celebrity Circus. She has also appeared in music videos for Carl Thomas’ “Emotional” and Kanye West’s “All Falls Down”.
On May 28, 2014, Fox News announced that Dash had been hired as a contributor for “cultural analysis and commentary.” On the December 7, 2015, edition of Outnumbered, Dash made a remark about President Barack Obama’s address regarding Islamic terrorism that took place the day before, suggesting the president didn’t “give a shit” about terrorism. Due to this remark, the network suspended her without pay for two weeks.
In 2016, Dash received criticism when she argued that the BET Awards lied to black people about news regarding the boycotting of the Oscars due to lack of ethnic diversity, and called for an end to Black History Month. She made a cameo at the 88th Academy Awards repeating this sentiment. In addition, she criticized Jesse Williams’s speech at the BET Awards.
