Hollywood actor Warren Beatty has been accused of grooming and coercing a minor into having sex when she was 14 and 15. The actor was about 35 at the time.
Kristina Charlotte Hirsch filed the lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court. She alleges that Beatty called her multiple times in 1973, invited her to the hotel he was staying at and brought her on car rides, per Variety.
After having several inappropriate conversations about her virginity, she says he “used his position and status as an adult and a Hollywood movie star to coerce sexual contact with Plaintiff on multiple occasions, including oral sex, simulated sex and finally coerced sexual intercourse with the minor child.”
Hirsch wants to be compensated for her psychological, mental and emotional distress. Hirsch filed the suit under a 2019 California law that opened a three-year “lookback window” for claims of child sexual abuse that the statute of limitations would otherwise bar. That window expires on Jan. 1, 2023.
