This week a woman testified in R Kelly’s trial, and claimed that she was the 14 year old girl from the infamous R Kelly tape. The woman described horrible manipulation and abuse at the hands of R Kelly – and claimed that he violated her as a teen “hundreds of times.”
Shortly after the tape was released, the woman’s aunt – 1990s R&B singer Sparkle – came forward and blasted her former mentor R Kelly. At the time, Sparkle was largely ignored by the media.
Now that her niece has finished testifying, Sparkle is speaking out again – and what she’s saying is EXPLOSIVE.
In a long statement, posted on Instagram, Sparkle denies taking any part in her niece’s abuse – which contradicts the niece’s testimony. She also claims that her niece’s parents had a relationship with R Kelly for years AFTER the tape was leaked.
Sparkle claims that the girls parents still have an “allegiance” to their child’s abuser.
Just to be clear, Media Take Out confirmed that Sparkle NEVER defended R Kelly and she has for years begged her niece to come forward and testify against the R&B singer.
