90 Day Fiancé Star Michael Ilesanmi has responded to reports that he’s planning to sue TLC over his abusive relationship with his wife, Angela Deem.
In the series, Angela has physically assaulted him several times and is very controlling. Michael finally received his green card in December but left Angela’s home shortly after, and fans feared for his safety.
“It has come to my attention that there are false rumors circulating online that I have initiated legal action against TLC and someone,” he wrote via his Instagram Stories. “I want to set the record straight: I have not sued anyone. These rumors are entirely unfounded and incorrect.”
Michael added that spreading misinformation can ruin peoples lives and reputations.
Michael previously revealed that he left Angela because he was treated like “nobody.”
“All I’ll say is this — I suffered,” he told Entertainment Tonight at the time.
