Michael Ilesanmi is celebrating a fresh start.
The 90 Day Fiancé star finalized his divorce from Angela Deem on March 10, bringing an end to their high-profile relationship that played out across several seasons of the TLC franchise.
According to court documents, the former couple reached a settlement agreement after separating due to ongoing marital issues.
“Differences have arisen between the parties in the marital relationship,” the filing states, noting the pair have been living apart while the divorce case moved through the Superior Court of Jeff Davis County.
As part of the agreement, both Ilesanmi, 36, and Deem, 60, will keep vehicles currently in their own names and remain responsible for their individual debts. The documents also state that neither party will receive alimony and each will cover their own legal fees.
The settlement includes a clause that prevents either from making statements intended to harm the other’s reputation.
Ilesanmi shared the news with fans shortly after the decision became official.
“Finally official. Divorced,” he wrote on Instagram. “Thank you to everyone who supported me along the way.”
In a video posted outside a courthouse, he held up paperwork and added with a smile, “Single life, here I come.”
