Ashley Michelle is calling time on her marriage to Manuel Velez, saying she is filing for divorce after years of feeling “unsupported.”
The 90 Day Fiancé star announced the split Monday just before what would have been the couple’s fourth anniversary.
“What a shame, tomorrow is our 4 year anniversary and I’m officially asking for a divorce,” Ashley wrote on Instagram beside a wedding photo.
“I have felt unsupported by you for years,” she continued. “I am DONE. Do not come back to this house.”
A day later, Ashley thanked followers for checking on her while admitting she was still absorbing what had happened.
“TBH I’m just processing right now,” she wrote. “All I can say is, when someone shows you who they are…believe them.”
Ashley is also recovering from recent abdominoplasty surgery and a breast augmentation, which she has been documenting online. She said the breakup has made that recovery even harder.
“I’d be lying if I said relationship stuff is not affecting healing,” Ashley wrote, adding that she planned to “move slow, lay low” and focus on work.
Ashley and Manuel met in Ecuador in 2010 before reconnecting years later. Their relationship was featured on 90 Day Fiancé season 10 after Manuel moved to the United States, where the pair married in 2022.
