50 Cent told a story in a recent interview about the time Master P got one over on him early on in his career.
“What I’ll say about P is he was slick,” 50 Cent continued. “He came, he gave me the money for the 8 shows, right? We did four of them. He said, ‘Aw man, something happened we gonna have to take a break,” he said on Big Boy’s Neighborhood.
“We’ll just come back and do the other 4 later.’ When I came back to do the other 4, I had already sold 2 million records. He had already paid me so I had to do the shows. He knew. He was like, ‘This muthaf-cka’s on fire! This is gonna go off.'”
Fif did not sound upset by Master P’s business decision and probably learned a thing or 2 from the No Limit Records boss. The pair have a long history as Master P put the cash up for 50 Cent’s first tour.
