50 Cent has been holding Drake down since the Canadian rapper’s beef with Kendrick Lamar and revealed what he told Drake after the rapper’s major loss.
“I was telling him, it’s not him. I’m listening on the outskirts, it’s not you. Don’t let yourself think that for a second,” 50 said in an interview with Billboard. “On some real sh-t, I said, ‘They said you lost, okay. Well what did you lose?’ What exactly did he lose if he got $300 something million on his last tour? You didn’t lose a motherf-cking thing, man.”
Drake and Kendrick went back and forth over the summer and many believe it was one of the biggest beefs in rap history.
According to 50, he also told Drizzy to keep at it in the studio and focus on dropping hits.
50 told Drake that if he did not focus on creating, the resistance would make him feel as though his music isn’t good enough.
Drake has dropped several tracks since the beef ended but did not give fans the song of the summer as he usually does.
