50 Cent has reportedly filed a motion to drop his defamation lawsuit against ex, Daphne Joy, the mother of his son, Sire.
After Daphne Joy was mentioned in a lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs, alleging she was a paid sex worker, 50 Cent trolled her relentlessly online, calling her a “little sex worker.”
In May, the rapper sued Joy for defamation and sought over $1 million in damages over an Instagram post she made in March, accusing him of r-pe and physical abuse.
“I am tired of upholding and protecting an image to our son that you have never even earned,” Joy wrote at the time. “Let’s put the real focus on your true evil actions of raping me and physically abusing me. You are no longer my oppressor and my God will handle you from this point on.”
50 denied the allegations and countersued for defamation.
Two months later, she removed her claims of r-pe and abuse from her lawsuit against the rapper.
50 Cent is now asking the judge to dismiss the suit without prejudice.
