50 Cent claims Sean “Diddy” Combs tried to get people to make false accusations against him, and he’s shutting the door on another partnership with Power creator Courtney Kemp.
The 51-year-old rapper addressed both relationships in a new interview with Variety, alleging that Diddy tried to damage his public image amid the controversy surrounding the music executive.
“He was trying to find people to make frivolous accusations against me,” 50 Cent claimed.
The G-Unit founder, who executive produced Netflix’s Sean Combs: The Reckoning, also suggested that the documentary only scratched the surface of Diddy’s alleged misconduct.
“What he did was actually worse than what’s in the doc,” he said.

But Diddy wasn’t the only former associate 50 Cent discussed. Asked whether he’d ever refuse to work with someone again, he immediately named Kemp.
“I don’t think that she’s wholeheartedly a bad person, I just think that it got out of control for her,” he explained.
50 Cent said he felt his efforts to launch Power, including helping sell the series to Starz and producing its music, were overlooked.
Kemp disputed his version of events in a statement to Variety, saying he “did not write nor create the series” but was “a large part of its birth.”
