R&B singer Ashanti finally has a man. Media Take Out spoke with two separate entertainment insiders, both of whom tell us that the gorgeous 2000s R&B songstress is dating R&B singer Joyner Lucas.
And according to Ashanti, she wants to have a baby by the singer – as early as next year. Here’s what she told a fan last month:
Ashanti and Joyner’s romance first popped off, one insider explained, when the two worked together for their song together, Fall Slowly (Evolution) by Lucas, featuring the R&B singer.
In the video, the two are seen passionately kissing and embracing, driving fans to speculate that their amazing chemistry spilled out into real life. While the two never confirmed the relationship, they also didn’t deny it.
We have more evidence that the two were dating. Joyner’s mom started following Ashanti on ig and was became a fixture on her page – frequently commenting and liking posts. Ashanti also started heavily promoting [Joyner’s] music app Tully.”

Recently Ashanti has been hinting (hell she’s basically been just outright saying) that there’s trouble in paradise.
She released a new single & visual “Falling For You” – which is a song about being over a dude who is playing games- and the video stars with a Joyner Lucas look-alike. In the video, she goes his phone and discovers that he has someone else pregnant….
