Here’s what we know. Earlier this year, Shanice got bad news during a routine breast exam. Doctors found a one centimeter tumor in my breast. After tests were done, and multiple consultations, Shanice decided to take pretty radical action to preserve her health.

She decided to have a double mastectomy.

Media take Out has learned that Shanice’s family has a history of cancer with adverse consequences. So while her decision to have a double mastectomy may seem radical to some …. it was the only way that Shanice can be sure that she’d be free of the horrible disease.

Sha made sure to give a special shout out to her husband Flex, who, helped nurse her back to health. Shaniece wrote, “Thank you [Flex] for helping me get through the hardest time of my life.. You helped me every day with my drains and cooked all my meals.. I love you.. I am healed and restored in Jesus name.”
