16-year-old rapper Lil Purk is apologizing to fans after he was convicted and sentenced to 20 years in prison for his part in the murders of 20, a 12-year-old, and a 15-year-old were left dead.
Four more individuals were injured by the shooting and cops arrested seven individuals in connection with the crime.

Purk says he’s innocent.
“To all my family and fans I would like to sincerely apologize to y’all and to all the younger generation looking up to me,” Purk wrote on his Instagram Stories. “Let me and my situation be a lesson learned for our whole generation everything not what it seem and I’m still pleading my innocence I love you lil hot and to the families hurt by this situation forgive me also still keeping faith alive 43va.”

Five of the seven indixiduals arrested entered guilty pleas for violating the city’s Street Gang Act.
The young rapper’s career is over before he had a chance to fully take off.
