1090 Jake sat down for an interview with DJ Vlad where he was asked about Tory Lanez’s 10 year sentence in a California prison.
“The fact that he has to do it in California State Prison, that’s very unfortunate, They’re very political. You don’t have the opportunity to be the celebrity in there. If you’re general population, and it pops off, you’re required to get involved. You have to pick up a knife. You have to. It’s mandatory. So, the situation he’s in now, he has to basically forget about being a celebrity,” he told Vlad.
Lanez’s new mugshot hit the interview last week and fans clowned him for his seemingly pinned on hairpiece. A source also said that Lanez’s short stature won’t help him behind bars.

“He stands in at 5-foot-3, so his size is definitely a setback,” the insider told Page Six. “He is housed with real hardcore criminals, murderers. So he is really hoping that his lawyers will be able to continue to fight for his freedom while still maintaining his innocence. The whole thing is a mess.”
