Obama never "apologized" to people who attacked the embassy. It never happened. The statement came from another American embassy in response to a viral video released on 9/11 disparaging the religion of Islam. It had nothing to do with Obama. He didn't make the statement. Obama had strong condemnation for the attack on the embassy and has already deployed a team of Marines to catch the cowards who did it. Romney made his idiotic statement before all the facts were in. He jumped the gun and politicized a tragedy.

The embassy in Cairo was not the one under siege, Barn. That embassy has some pretty sick protesters in front of it, but it's not "under siege" in any way. The embassy that was attacked in is Benghazi, LIBYA. Cairo is in Egypt. We don't need a geography lesson. Secondly, new information is coming in that the attack has NOTHING to do with the video. If the video never came out, the embassy would have been attacked anyway.

Third, any statement that comes out from an embassy half way across the world would take some time to get here and be read. Especially in an election year. Seriously, that's just plain old obvious.
